Statement by Bob Dylan, 2007 Prince of Asturias Award Laureate for the Arts, on the occasion of the Presentation Ceremony
"Please allow me to thank the King, Prince Philippe and the people of Spain for giving me the Prince of Asturias Award. I am aware of the enormous prestige that this prize affords as well as the long list of distinguished recipients. It is truly a great honour. Unfortunately I cannot be there to receive this prize in person but I hope to return to Spain soon to show my gratitude for this award."
